The National Arcade Championship

Privacy Policy

The National Arcade Championship is operated by Chris Womack, Fletcher, NC. This page explains what information we collect when you sign up to play, and how we use it. Plain and simple: we collect only what we need to run league nights.

The policy

What we collect and why

01

What we collect

When you sign up to play, we collect your name, email address, cell phone number, and Venmo handle. That is the whole list. Payment card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout — we never see or store your card number.

02

Text messages

We use your cell phone number for one thing only: sending league match-update texts (your bracket assignment, a call when your match is up, your next match, and your final result) — and only if you checked the text consent box at sign-up. Expect a few texts per event night. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help.

03

Email

We use your email address for event communication: sign-up confirmation, schedule changes, results, and season news about the nights you play in.

04

Prize payouts

We use your Venmo handle for one thing only: sending your nightly prize payout when you place. The National Arcade Championship pays winners by Venmo the same night.

05

Payments

Entry payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card data is handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy and is never stored by us.

06

Sharing

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

07

How long we keep it

We keep sign-up information only as long as needed for league operations — running brackets, sending payouts, and keeping season standings straight. Want your information deleted? Contact us below and we will remove it.
